Arrival to Ambon – the island that still keeps its colonial charm (flight ticket to Ambon can be arranged on request). Your guide will meet and greet you at the Pattimura airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure.

Today, after breakfast, we will go on a cultural tour around Ambon city. Visit in Siwalima Museum and Marine Museum will turn us back in time to the colonial era. We will see many fine exhibits, including ancestral carvings, traditional outfits, and even a gigantic whale skeleton, to better understand the culture and history of the Moluccan Archipelago. Next, we will drive to Latuhalat to feel the vibe of coastal villages and relax on blissful Pintu Kota Beach, where we can have lunch in a local restaurant (at your discretion). In the afternoon, we will visit the secluded bays of Natsepa Beach and Liang Beach offering white sand, crystal clear turquoise water, and some shade from the trees. Before going back to the hotel we will stop at Waai Village to see the sacred giant eels that inhabit the adjacent river.

In the morning, we will take a trip to Soya Village, beautifully situated on the slopes of Sirimau Mountain. We will visit the Raja’s house (king of the village) and see the ancient megaliths of the ancestors. Next, we will do a little hiking to reach the sacred hilltop, what is the holy water container that never dries out, hear the story of the Luhu ghost and enjoy the stunning scenery. Later, we will drive to Tantui and visit The Commonwealth Memorial commemorating the Allied troops who died during the World War II. After that, the northern coast ride through the clove and nutmeg plantations will take us to Hila and Kaitetu villages. We will admire the perfectly preserved colonial architecture of the Dutch Fort Amsterdam and visit the historical Hila Colonial Church. Return to the hotel for overnight.

After leisurely breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your return flight to Bali or Jakarta. At your request, we can connect this tour with the other program. Farewell to Maluku.
