An incredible adventure that takes you from Jakarta’s metropolis to Indonesia’s cultural capital – Yogyakarta, the gateway to the majestic Borobudur. Unforgettable sunrise from the top of smouldering Bromo, verdant rice terraces in Bali, blissful Gili beaches are just a foretaste of unforgettable experiences like jungle trekking and meeting eye to eye with gigantic Komodo dragons.



Day 1:
Welcome to Indonesia – Jakarta
Arrival to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Your guide will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure.
Day 2:
Yakarta – Yogyakarta (B)
Today, after breakfast we will take a cultural tour around Jakarta. We will walk around Kota Tua, the historical part of Jakarta, and admire the colonial architecture of Fatahillah Square. Our next stops are The Jakarta History Museum, Istiqlal Mosque (the largest mosque in the Southeast Asia) and The Catholic Cathedral. For a break, we will stop in the famous Cafe Batavia and try the excellent coffee Luwak. Later on, we will move to the modern metropolitan heart of the city and visit Monas – the Indonesian Monument of Independence. If time permits, we will visit the historical port of Sunda Kelapa. The driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Yogyakarta. Upon arrival, check into the hotel in Yogyakarta.
Day 3:
Yogyakarta (B)
In the morning, your guide will take you for a trip around Yogyakarta, the cultural capital of Java. You will visit Sultan Palace, known as Keraton and the royal bathing pools of Taman Sari Water Castle. After lunch, you can see the process of painting batik textiles and carving Wayang Kulit puppets. Later we will walk along the city’s iconic Malioboro street.
Day 4:
Yogyakarta – Borobudur – Surabaya – Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park (B)
Today we will go on a fascinating tour to Borobudur. The temple complex from the 8th century is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. While visiting the temple stupas you can admire the magnificent views over volcanic cones on the horizon of verdant Kedu Plain. Later, we will take a ride on a horse-cart and visit the traditional Candirejo Village. Here we can feel the vibe of authentic Javanese village life, where ancient traditions are still followed. See how people live, learn how to play gamelan (traditional music instrument) and try the local delicacies. After lunch (at your own expense), we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Surabaya. Your guide will welcome you after landing and take on a 2-3 hour ride to the hotel located near Bromo Mountain.
Day 5:
Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park – Bali (B)
Very early morning, at 2.30 a.m., we will take a jeep tour to discover the lunar-like landscape of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. From the viewpoint on top of Mount Penanjakan, we will admire the magnificent sunrise over Mountain Bromo, Batok and the highest peak of Java – Mount Semeru. We will approach the edge of the caldera and look inside the crater constantly fuming with sulfurous smoke. Horse ride can be arranged on the way down (at your discretion). Return to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Later, your driver will transfer you to Juanda airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Bali.
Day 6:
Bali (B)
After breakfast, we will go on a sightseeing trip to the most iconic and picturesque spots of Bali. We will visit the magnificent Pura Besakih, known as the Mother Temple and the most important Hindu temple on the island. Later, we will drive through the stunning scenery of terraced rice paddies and coffee plantations, dotted with coconut palm trees to highlands of Kintamani. We will take a break in the restaurant overlooking Mount Batur with the spectacular view over the crater lake. From the dramatic mountain scenery, we will move to serene landscape of verdant rice terraces in Pakerisan Valley. Here, we will visit the 11th-century temple and funerary complex of Gunung Kawi. The last stop on our route is Ubud, the cultural and artistic center of the island. You can walk around the traditional market or step inside one of the art galleries and handicraft workshops. If time permits, before returning to the hotel we can visit the Monkey Forest or have a dinner (at your own discretion).
Day 7:
Bali (B)
Today is free at leisure. You can spend the day on the beach, or continue exploring the island individually.
Day 8:
Bali – Gili Air (B)
After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Padangbai harbor, where we can take a boat to Gili Air Island (3 hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel on a horse cart (called cidomo). The remainder of the day is free to enjoy this beautiful and quiet, small island.
Day 9:
Gili Air (B)
Free day in Gili Air. Perfect time to discover snorkeling spots where you can admire colorful coral gardens and sea turtles. Relax on the beach or immerse yourself in nature. Boat trips to Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan or diving activities can be arranged upon request.
Day 10:
Lombok – Gunung Rinjani National Park (B)
After breakfast, you will take a speedboat to Teluk Nara harbor in Lombok Island. Your driver will meet you there and take you for a nature walk to Gunung Rinjani National Park. Explore the wild landscapes and natural wonders as you stroll through the bamboo groves, spot wildlife in the rainforest and admire the waterfalls of Sendang Gile and Tui Kelep. In the afternoon, check into your hotel for a rest.
Day 11:
Flores – Labuan Bajo (B)
Today you will fly to Flores Island with transit in Bali. Flight to Labuan Bajo is an attraction for itself – from the bird’s eye view we can admire the natural wonders of Indonesia: azure lagoons, coral atolls, volcanic cones and chains of islets. Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 12:
Komodo National Park – Rinca Island – Kalong Island (B, L)
In the morning, meeting with our boatman in the hotel lobby. We will board the boat for an exciting trip to Komodo National Park. First, we will head to Rinca Island, the home of famous Komodo dragons. We will take a short trek with the local rangers to see the prehistoric lizards. After lunch, prepared by our boatman, we will sail to Kalong Island. The dense mangroves covering this little island are inhabited by the giant bats called flying foxes. At dusk, we will watch an amazing spectacle, when many thousands of flying foxes emerge from the mangrove shrubbery and fly towards Rinca, almost covering the sky. Return on our boat to Labuan Bajo and transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Day 13:
Labuan Bajo – Bali (B)
Today, after leisurely breakfast and catching some tropical sun, we will drive to the airport and take a flight back to Bali. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel near the airport, in a short distance to Kuta Beach.
Day 14:
Bali (B)
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport in Denpasar for your return flight to Europe. Farewell to Indonesia.

Our prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) per person based on twin share accommodation (2 people in 1 room) and valid on regular season. For payments in other currency (Euro or US Dollar) the exchange rate of the invoice day will apply.
