Day 1: Welcome to Bali

Arrival to Denpasar – the capital of Bali. Your guide will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure.

Day 2: Bali – Besakih Temple – Kintamani – Mount Batur – Gunung Kawi (B)

After breakfast, we will go on a sightseeing trip to the most iconic and picturesque spots of Bali. We will visit the magnificent Pura Besakih, known as the Mother Temple and the most important Hindu temple on the island. Later, we will drive through the stunning scenery of terraced rice paddies and coffee plantations, dotted with coconut palm trees to highlands of Kintamani. We will take a break in the restaurant overlooking Mount Batur with the spectacular view over the crater lake. From the dramatic mountain scenery, we will move to serene landscape of verdant rice terraces in Pakerisan Valley. Here, we will visit the 11th-century temple and funerary complex of Gunung Kawi. If time allows, we will drive to Tanah Lot and watch the sunset over the temple beautifully situated on the sea rocks. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Bali – Batuan – Ubud (B)

Today our guide will take you on a cultural trip to experience the authentic Balinese culture. First, we will go to Batuan Village and visit traditional Balinese houses, see how people live in harmony with nature and learn about their traditions. Next, we will drive through the lush valleys of Karangasem and stop in Bukit Jambul to admire the stunning terraced rice fields. Then, we will continue to Ubud – the cultural and artistic center of the island. Here we can take some rest, visit the traditional market or eat lunch with the view of the famous rice terraces (at your discretion). Before going back to the hotel, we will visit Monkey Forest, meet the monkeys living freely in the local temples and discover the ancient monuments hidden in the jungle forest.

Day 4: Bali (B)

Today is free at leisure. You can spend the day on the beach or continue exploring the island individually.

Day 5: Bali – Gili Air (B)

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Padangbai harbor, where we can take a boat to Gili Air Island (3 hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel on a horse cart (called cidomo). The remainder of the day is free to enjoy this beautiful and quiet, small island.

Day 6: Gili Air (B)

Free day in Gili Air. Perfect time to discover snorkeling spots where you can admire colorful coral gardens and sea turtles. Relax on the beach or immerse yourself in nature. Boat trips to Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan or diving activities can be arranged upon request.

Day 7: Gili Air – Lombok – Senaru Village (B)

After breakfast, you will take a speedboat to Teluk Nara harbor in Lombok Island. Your driver will meet you there and transfer you to the hotel near Senaru Village, the gateway to Gunung Rinjani National Park.

Day 8: Gunung Rinjani National Park – Rinjani Trekking (B, L, D)

Today we will start the unforgettable trekking to the summit of Mount Rinjani. At 06.15 a.m. we will meet with our guide and set out for trekking through the dense tropical forest, rich with flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. If we are lucky, we will see the rare black ebony leaf monkey. We will take a lunch break at Pos 2 - Montong Satas shelter (1,500 m) to recuperate and hear the local legend about the village. Depending on the weather and your preference, we will camp either in the forest at Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) or near the Senaru crater rim (2,641 m). If the sky is clear, from here you can see the Gili Islands and Bali’s Mount Agung on the horizon.

Day 9: Gunung Rinjani National Park – Rinjani Trekking (B, L)

Before the dawn, we will walk to the rim of the crater to see the stunning sunrise over the lake Segara Anak and the summit of Mount Rinjani. After admiring the magnificent scenery, we will descend for 2 hours to Mondokan Lolak, take a lunch break and continue through meadows for another 3-4 hours to Senaru Village. We will spend around 7 hours descending from the rim down to Rinjani Trek Centre. Transfer to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 10: Lombok – Lendang Nangka Village – Satonda island (B, D)

After breakfast, we will drive along the charming bays to Senggigi and join a group for the sightseeing bus tour to discover the richness of Sasak culture. We will explore the more authentic eastern part of the island, with stops in places like Lendang Nangka village. Here you can see what Lombok life is all about, visit Sasak’s houses, see the craftsmen at work, walk through the terraced rice fields or swim in the hidden waterfall. We will finish the trip in Labuhan Lombok, where in the afternoon we take a boat to Satonda Island (choice of cabin or deck). Overnight cruise to Satonda.

Day 11: Satonda island – Dinggo / Kilo Island (B, L, D)

In the morning we will arrive in Satonda, the idyllic small island situated near the northern coast of Sumbawa. We will go for sightseeing around the island to find the unique salt-water crater lake at its center. Later we will sail to Dinggo / Kilo for snorkeling (depending on the weather). Overnight cruise to Komodo.

Day 12: Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo (B, L)

Upon arrival in Komodo Island in the morning, we will take a short trek with the local rangers to see the famous Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. After hiking we will enjoy snorkeling and relax on the Pink Beach, where the sand has unusual pink color. Later, getting back on our boat and continue sailing to Flores Island. Our cruise will end in Labuan Bajo, a small fishing town offering a stunning view over the bay surrounded by chains of small islets, worth admiring especially at sunset. Transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 13: Labuan Bajo – Bali (B)

Today, after leisurely breakfast and catching some tropical sun, we will drive to the airport and take a flight back to Bali. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel near the airport, in a short distance to Kuta Beach.

Day 14: Bali (B)

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport in Denpasar for your return flight to Europe.
Farewell to Indonesia.

  5. Shared boat cruise and bus/car trip (Lombok – Komodo National Park – Labuan Bajo), with provided snorkeling equipment;

Final price

Our prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) per person based on twin share accommodation (2 people in 1 room) and valid on regular season. For payments in other currency (Euro or US Dollar) the exchange rate of the invoice day will apply.
